exploring the Acts of the Apostles
is the first in what we plan will be a range of materials that will help you to
explore and to understand more of the Bible. In particular, they will help you
to get to know Jesus if you don't already know Him, or if you do, then we hope
they will help you to know Him better!

This is the first of a number of e-Books we have planned for late 2008/2009.
They all contain maps, photos (where appropriate!) and graphics.
Available NOW .........
exploring the Acts of the Apostles. This
e-book is an exciting and fast-moving view of the establishment of the
Church. It takes the lessons learned from those men and women who endured
persecution and trials, beatings and execution in order to take the Gospel
of Jesus Christ to the borders of the Roman Empire and beyond to every
nation under Heaven. Each person completed his or her task and handed the
baton on to the next, and by the time Paul was executed for his Christian
faith (less than 40 years after the death of Jesus), the world was full of
the Best News of all - that God loves them and desires a personal
relationship with each and every one. That fact continues down the ages to
us today unchanged. Discover how these people took that news to different
countries on foot and by ship; learn of the miracles that these Believers
were part of, and see the reactions of the religious and political
authorities as the very foundation of their authority was challenged by the
news of Jesus' death and resurrection. Be challenged by the radical teaching
and way of life that these men and women - many or even most of whom were
ordinary and uneducated people - brought with them as they spoke to Jews and
Gentiles, rich and poor, slave and free without fear. Oh .... and one other
thing, be prepared to get a backpack and passport as you respond to your own
challenge ....
Normal Christian Lives - This is an e-book
for those that have often said either secretly or openly 'there must be more
to the Christian life than this!'. It deals with the basics of becoming a
Christian through to Love, Joy, Peace and even the dreaded word 'Finances'.
Neither does this book shy away from dealing with what some regard as
'contentious topics' such as baptism and Baptism in the Holy Spirit. It
deals with each subject in a straightforward and challenging way and
provides biblical references at all times. Having said that, this book is
not for those who want to feel entirely comfortable where they are. It
provides challenges a-plenty.
12 men of God - exploring how these men
lived rich and fulfilling lives despite making some mistakes on the way. It
covers the lives of Noah and Moses, Abraham and Gideon, Barak and Samson
plus six others. These men each lived their lives knowing the call of God on
them. Things were never easy for any of them, but even in times of hardship
and trial, the hand of God was there to guide them. As we face tough times
in the age in which we live, we can take comfort from the fact that these
men have been able to overcome trials and tribulations of their own
and of others' makings to come through victorious despite their own
failings. This book is not for people whose lives are in total control
24x7x365!
Revelation - an exploration. Just what is
going to happen as we approach the most turbulent time in all of history?
What is the timetable according to this and other books of the Bible? How is
the Church going to cope? Will the Tribulation affect the Church? What sort
of Church will there be during the end-time period? How does Jesus expect
His people to react to pressure? What is the Gog-Magog war, and will
Armageddon really take place? A no-nonsense approach to these and many other
questions that put the Book of Revelation in context. You will love it or
hate it, but you will not be able just to shrug it off!
The Armour of God. We have read about it in
Ephesians, but how does it really relate to the attacks of satan and his
hordes of demons? Why is there only one offensive weapon, and what exactly
is it? This book deals with each of the pieces of Armour provided for us by
God in order to demonstrate that we truly have been provided for in our
daily walk with God.
The Tabernacle and the Temple. Well, what
did each of these places look like? How were they built and what were their
functions? We deal with the contents of each and with why God had them built
the way He did? What did the timeline of the Temple look like from original
build through rebuild through final destruction? Come and walk through the
plans, graphics, photos and meanings of these amazing temporal constructions. Oh, and what
about the third Temple? What is all that about? Just wait for it ........
